Scholarship

Learning is one of the Principles of Sigma Tau Gamma and the Beta Chapter takes academic opportunity and success very seriously. While SigTaus are learning leadership and organizational skills by running the fraternity outside the classroom they are also preparing for their futures inside the classroom.

The Getze Scholarship foundation provides several scholarships to Brothers of Beta Chapter. Sigma Tau Gamma is one of very few fraternities that has its own scholarship foundation. Our chapter has an endowment of over $150,000 that awards seventeen scholarships every year to Beta Chapter Brothers.

Every year the SigTau Academic Committee compiles a data base of all the Brothers' course schedules, majors, and academic history. The database is left in SigTau's library to help Brothers team up to study and tutor each other.
